Operations Assistant

We're looking for an Operations Assistant to join a growing medical aesthetics training company, working alongside the Operations Manager and senior leadership. You'll be a key player in overseeing the operational objectives of the business's training courses, from onboarding trainers through to ensuring every course runs smoothly and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, thrives under a bit of pressure, and wants to grow alongside a medium-sized, ambitious business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across the company's training courses and events
- Support the onboarding of trainers and faculty
- Monitor the booking process, including ensuring trainers are paid on receipt of their e-learning
- Act as first point of contact for complaints, managing them through a clear escalation process
- Manage rotas and schedules for both customers and faculty
- Support large and small-scale events, with scope to grow as the company grows
- Respond calmly to crisis scenarios, including technical issues, complaints, and compliance matters
- Support operations across training centres, including the London HQ
- Contribute ideas to new strategies for training delivery and expansion
- Manage stock and report back on levels and needs
- Ensure all post-course elements are collected and completed, including debrief documents, social media content, and supporting the management of patients during courses
- Assist with reviewing suppliers and budgets
- Act as first point of call on all operations matters, freeing up the wider team to focus on innovation and growth
About You
- A self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't need heavy oversight
- Experience in operations, with the confidence and authority to take on projects independently
- A positive attitude and a genuine team player
- Comfortable with a fast-paced, sometimes reactive working environment
- Keen to grow long-term with a medium-sized, expanding enterprise
The Package
£1,700 per month depending on experience. 3–4 days per week, remote with occasional travel to London and other UK training centres and events.
