The FA Collective was founded by someone who had spent years on both sides of the support professional relationship — as an EA themselves, and later as someone responsible for finding and placing talent. The experience made one thing clear: the traditional recruitment model was not built for the kind of work we do.

Generic job boards and volume-driven agencies treat support roles as interchangeable. We know they are not. The right EA for a fast-moving tech founder is a very different person from the right PA for a celebrity or a high-net-worth family. Personality, discretion, and working style matter as much as experience — sometimes more.

So we built something different. A small, considered agency with a curated collective of freelance professionals and a client list built entirely on referral and reputation.

The FA Collective was founded by an executive, business owner, and recruitment professional with over 15 years in the industry, who started her own career as an Executive Assistant.

That path — from EA to executive to business owner — gave a view of the support and recruitment world from every side of the table. And becoming a mother of two made one gap impossible to ignore.

On one side, experienced professionals were carrying a genuine load, mental and physical, alongside building and strengthening their careers, and needed flexibility to do both well. On the other, business owners and entrepreneurs needed exceptional support but not always the full commitment, cost, or structure of a permanent hire.

Two needs, rarely met by the same solution. The FA Collective exists to close that gap: giving credible, experienced professionals a genuine voice and a flexible path forward, while giving founders and entrepreneurs the calibre of support they need, on terms that actually fit how they work.

It's not a compromise for either side. It's the match that was missing.
